Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan is a story about 2 people. The first is Olivia a single mother who is a bee keeper. The second is Lily, a young girl looking to make a fresh start in a new place. The two of them are bonded by Asher who is Lily's boyfriend and Olivia's son. When Asher finds Lily dead in her house, he becomes the only suspect in an active murder case. 
This book explores many topics, feminism, transgender, abuse, and motherhood. In this podcast episode we will discuss the plot of the novel. Unpack the main characters of the book and explore their development through out the novel; and dive into the themes of the book and look for deeper meaning.
